  • Massanutten Women’s Club: The Massanutten Women’s Club has been active in the community for over 20 years and currently has about 70 members. For newcomers it is the perfect way to meet your neighbors and make friends.
    • Dues are $15.00 per year.
    • Meetings are held each month except during the summer.  There are groups within the club such as book club, garden club, lunch bunch, bridge club, supper club, The Merry Widows, travel club, antique shopping, etc.
    • Recent contributions to the community have included new equipment at the Hopkins Park playground.  Their monthly newsletter “Vistas” can be picked up at the mail stations.

  • Massanutten Lions Club: The McGaheysville-Massanutten Lions Club is an organization of men and women who have volunteered their time and efforts to help satisfy the needs of the less fortunate in our local community since 1992. Its 90 members (2008) are part of an international network (Lions Club International) of over one million men and women in over 200 countries that is a global leader in community and humanitarian service.
    • Lions have been known since 1917 for working to end preventable blindness. However, Lions have expanded their work for the betterment of their communities and the world at large. The McGaheysville-Massanutten Lions Club has worked to help provide such things food and health care to the less fortunate, mentoring to youth, and assistance to individuals with sight and hearing problems in the local community.

Lions not only help people in need, but also have opportunities to meet and develop personal friendships with citizens of the community. The Club meets twice a month in the MPOA Administration Building.
