Seeking MPOA Board Applicants

 

The MPOA Nominating Committee is currently seeking applicants to fill four Board of Directors vacancies this May.

 

The Massanutten Property Owners Association is formed to protect and enhance community life in Massanutten

by preserving, optimizing, or creating resources to that end. The association’s business is carried out by the

Administrator at the direction of the MPOA Board of Directors.

Qualifications:

All property owners in good standing are eligible to apply for election to the Board of Directors.

Obligations of Service:

Term of service is three years. Board members currently attend six meetings a year, scheduled on the third Saturday

morning of every odd-numbered month. Board members will relinquish their seat if they miss more than two meetings in a row.

Board members should anticipate devoting between 3-5 hours per month to required duties. Additional service is at their discretion.

Board members also serve as liaisons to one of the following subcommittees:

Long Range Planning

Architectural and Ecological Control

Nominating

Social

Web Site

Welcoming

Rules
