Board Of Directors
Consists of eleven elected members from the MPOA community, the MPOA administrator, the MPOA attorney, one representative from Great Eastern Resort Management Corporation, and one elected member of the Mountainside Villas Association. They meet every odd month, the 3rd Saturday, 9:00 am at the MPOA building. All MPOA members are invited to attend all meetings. Long Range Planning Committee
Currently consists of members appointed by the Board of Directors. They meet the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:00PM at the MPOA building . Article VI Section 6 of the By-Laws: “This committee shall serve for three years and be appointed by the president of the Association. The committee shall advise the board on the following issues: a) The association’s long term goals for improving its members’ quality of life (and to the extent consistent therewith, the quality of life of resident non-members). b) The likelihood that such goals will be met, given existing trends and c) Strategies for achieving such goals. Fire Wise Ad Hoc Committee
Appointed by the President of the Board on 07/16/2011 and reports to the MPOA Board of Directors. Term expires upon completion of project. Objective: “Firewise Resoultion” Whereas the formation of a MPOA Firewise Committee would further the Associations application to become certificed as a USA Firewise Community, be it resolved that an MPOA Firewise Committee (consisting of no less then four members to be appointed by the MPOA President) be establised. Be it further resolved that the MPOA proceed with submitting an application to become certified as a Firewise Community. Architectural and Ecological Control Committee
Currently consists of nine appointed MPOA members and one architectural consultant. They meet the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00PM at the MPOA building. Article VI Section 2 of the By-Laws: “This committee shall consist of at least five (5) members appointed by the Board of Directors, serving a term of three years, and shall exercise all the powers set forth in the Protective Covenants and Restrictions. They meet as needed. Article VI section 5 of the By-Laws: “It shall plan and carry out social events for residents of the community.” This is a fun committee!! They are the great people than plan and work to bring us the Fall Family BBQ, Meet the Candidates, Ice Cream Social, Committee Appreciation Dinner, and Angel Tree Lighting. Web Site Ad Hoc Committee

The welcoming committee was developed to enhance our sense of community and improve communication within Massanutten Village and increase opportunities to involve more residents in community activities. A newcomers package of information has been developed to help acquaint new residents with our community and the surrounding areas.
The committee is comprised of the committee members and block captains. There are 66 blocks or areas within the community and each consists of 10-15 homes. The MPOA Board of Directors appointed a Rules Committee consisting of one Board representative, one A&ECC representative, three members at large, and the Administrator. Each member is appointed for a two year term. This committee will meet on an as needed basis to enforce Massanutten Rules and Regulations approved by the Board on March 19, 2007.
